“Give it to me.”
Flip handed over his choker-necklace. Greg stuck it out of the thinly spaced bars and unlocked the cell. Greg then
unlocked Flip’s cell.
They tried creeping out but…
“The spaceship!” yelled Greg.
The aliens heard him and they all came charging at them. They ran for it but the aliens caught them. They slammed
them back in the cages and put the spaceship and the choker-necklace in a safe room.
Chapter 3
After a week of sleepless nights the brothers were tired, grumpy and desperate to escape the prison cell but they had
tried everything and nothing had worked. They were also quite hungry, prison food was disgusting. That evening
Greg was getting quite impatient and rolled around in his “bed”.
“Owww!!” yelled Greg, because he’d jumped up and hit his head on the ceiling and a book had fallen out.
“What is that?” asked Flip.
“Flip this is a book about the alien species keeping us hostage! We’ll use this book to find out the aliens weaknesses
and strengths. That way we’ll be able to escape.”
“Thank goodness you… Wait,” remarked Flip suspiciously. “Why would they hide a book in the ceiling all about
themselves , they’d be helping us escape.”
“Good point. I’ll check out the inside.”
But the book was in English, and they found a letter. Greg read it to Flip:
“ Dear Reader, I am probably dead right now but I was once a prisoner in this prison and I wrote this diary so that
any other prisoner would be able to escape. Let's read the rest tomorrow I’m exhausted.”
“Good night,” said a very excited Flip. They both got a good night sleep that night.
Chapter 4
The next day the brothers were very cheerful and started reading. “ Tell the aliens that you would like a calendar and
a watch so that you will know when your birthday is (there is a dictionary in the back of the book in case you can’t
speak Litiounous). Then on the night of the full moon at exactly 9:28pm all the aliens will fall into a deep sleep and
