I asked the girl that what her name was. “Hil”, she replied. Hil and I brought some basic tools for surviving and walked in to the forest. According to the person in charge, there would be a lift when we arrived. It would take us to the dragon’s habitat. We chatted while we were walking in the forest; we exchanged our phone numbers and became friends. After 2 hours of walking we finally arrived. We took the lift and went straight in to the dragon’s habitat. Unexpectedly, there wasn’t any dragon there. Both of us started to wonder whether they had been told the truth or not. We sat behind a box and started to discuss. Suddenly, we heard some voices. The voices of two strangers. We laid down immediately so we could hear their discussion. “What are we going to do with the dragon? Shall we kill it or what?” “Are you serious? It is the dragon protecting the treasures in the temple of the city centre. We should force it to give us all of the treasure before killing it. Let’s go back to our base and see what’s going on with the dragon.” We were worried that we wouldn’t be able to go back to the future if we didn’t follow them to find out the truth. We followed behind them, quietly and unnoticed, and went into their underground base. They trapped the dragon inside a tank made of ultra-hard glass, and forced the dragon to help them to get the treasures under the temple. The dragon replied no in English. The kidnappers understood and got ready to kill it. Without hesitation, Hil and I took action. We took out some ropes and tied them up while they were taking their guns out. They tried to struggle and use their guns to shoot me. They had only one bullet and the bullet pierced my arm. However, this didn’t hurt me a lot. We grabbed their guns and took some bullets out of their pockets. Pointing the gun at them, we forced them to let the dragon go. They were scared and followed our instructions. The dragon was finally free and it began to talk to us. He first asked me whether I was ok. It didn’t really hurt me, although the bullet is still lodged in my muscles. The dragon explained that it was trapped by those people for a few years. However, they didn’t try to hurt it at all until today. The dragon thought I was seriously injured and told us to ride on it. It brought us to the temple and thanked us. He broke the hard materials, and let us have a look of the treasures. He allowed each of us to pick one of the treasures. I picked a stamp with a picture of dragon and gold on its surface. Then we said goodbye to the person in charge and the dragon. Suddenly, we were sucked into the portal and left the old city of Shanghai. I opened my eyes and realized I was lying on something, holding the stamp. The injury of my arm had disappeared. I finally realized that it was my bed and just a few seconds after, my mom shouted, “Marth, you’re almost late for your school! Wake up immediately!” I woke up immediately and looked at my phone and found out it was the day for my Chinese history exam. I got changed immediately and rushed to school. I arrived school with just 1 minute to spare. I ran to my classroom and sat down. I calmed down myself and started to do the exam paper. After an hour, the exam ended. It was recess time; I walked outside in the corridor and saw Hil. I asked why she is here. She told me that she was a secondary 1 student in my school. She was very worried about my arm and I told her everything was fine. We started to chat again, and had become important friends after what had happened in the old city of Shanghai.
