Without knowing the sun slowly danced down as the moon come. From blue to pink to black, the stars sparkled in the starry night. The lights of Shanghai all lit up. The colorful reflections in the water brought the night of Shanghai to live. The reflection waves in the music coming out from the buildings. Suddenly, Boom! Boom! Boom! Pink sparks suddenly burst above the sky, then blue, then red… It’s just like flowers bursting up in the sky. Smoke started to come as well as more families came together to enjoy this beautiful view. I took a deep breath looking at the blessed family thinking of mine, I coughed right away. Maybe it’s because of the air quality? The casual outfits all crowded together, chatting with each other. As the fireworks burst in different patterns, the laughter’s the smiles on people’s faces were all witnessed and heard by me. 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! Happy new year! Everybody shouted together as one. Another lightning flashed beside me, again everything started to become blurry. In a few seconds, I’m back to the old Shanghai seeing the children hugging each other in their traditional colorful costumes that were hung outside this morning. The firecrackers made loud notices that busted my ears when the children’s laughter covered the voices of the firecrackers. Bong! Bong! Bong! Happy New Year!
