‘No problem.’ I grinned.
It was nightfall when we got back and everything was quiet. ‘Thanks again.’ Elijah said as he got off the truck.
‘No, stay in the truck. I know how to get home.’ I slid off the seat and stood next to the truck. ‘Where are you going to go now?’
I asked.
‘Who knows. The British intelligence already think I’m dead. Maybe I will go to Fiji, always wanted to go there.’
‘Well be careful.’
‘I will, and thanks for the truck.’ Then he drove of.
Well that was some adventure. I thought as I walked in an alleyway. I carefully placed the blue pearl on the floor then I stepped
on it. Crunch! The pearl broke and with a bang and flash of light I was gone.
Bang, flash! I was in my time machine again the doors slid open and I stepped out of the capsule and sighed. ‘That was very
exhilarating. I will miss Elijah. I heard the doorbell ring and walked towards it. I opened the door and I saw a young man standing
there, he took out his hand said, ‘Hello there neighbor my name is Nicholas Harvey I just moved here and I would like to get to
know my neighbours a bit more. So I am hosting a garden party at my estate and hope that you can join.’
‘My name is Kol McCoy. Wait, are you some how related to Elijah Harvey?’ I asked.
‘Why yes, he was my uncle. Great man, sadly he died at 39 because someone killed him. I don’t know much about it though.
Anyway would you be attending?’
‘Hum… Oh yes, yes I will thank you. May I know where you live?’
‘Oh just next door.’
I turned and lightly closed door. ‘I suppose time traveling has a very interesting effect on the future.’ I said to myself.
