name called the Pudong New area. In 1993, the Chinese government set up a Special economic zone in Chuansha, creating the Pudong
New Area. Twenty years ago Pudong is still far mland, but as the area development going on and on, it now become more futuristic
skyline lights up then New York City.
Hundreds or years passed, the bund is still the signature of shanghai, it shows the culture of Shanghai and the creation of modern
civilization to people. There are monstrous waves along the Huang- Pu river, and lovely restaurant, clubs along the streets, most of the
people love to go over and spend their night time and have lots of fun. When you go to the bund as a tourist, you
probably will want to go to Garden Bridge of Shanghai. Garden Bridge of shanghai is one of the
signature of old shanghai.
As the time flows by, summer, winter, autumn, spring, every time period there is a different feeling and atmosphere are changing throughout
the season, just like starting from the small fishing village near the muddy Huang-Pu river, slowly the fishing village become a totally
different thing. There are night clubs , bars, restaurant, along the street.
Now the British, the Japanese, and other countries that was wresting shanghai has moved away, after they are back to their own countries,
shanghai start with farming, reorganize by Mao’s communist. It start with Pudong area, and starting to build the oriental pearl TV tower,
it attracts lots of tourism because of the extremely high height and the amazing view at the top floor, and besides looking at views, there
are fantastic, wonderful restaurants up there, Pu dong are starting to have new shopping malls opened, luxury area of Pu Dong, so Pu xi
can’t lose too, so there are lots of great shopping mall but later, as more company open newer and more luxury shopping malls, all those old
shopping mall are being replaced by those new ones and now it look like forbidden forest from harry potter, it’s very creepy, it’s very dirty,
some bricks are off the walls, trashes everywhere.
Throughout the years, Shanghai had a great change, it been through world war 2, countries invading and all other sort of stuff. I bet
shanghai will be a more luxury place for everyone, and it will be nice and clean.
