After few days, the general John came back to check if they are dead, but he heard them all talking. The general got
angry and instructed the soldiers, “Soldiers, get inside the maze, without informing the people inside and silently attack
them!” The soldier took the orders of the general and came in the maze in a secret passageway. Angus and the people
there noticed them and hid while the soldiers came in and run into the secret passageway and escaped the maze. But
suddenly there were 4 more soldier out there, Angus and 3 people volunteered to trap the 4 soldiers and the general in
the maze. They secretly came behind the soldiers and knocked them off and wore the soldiers’ uniform and went in the
general’s office and told him, “Sir, we have found the people and the boy and we killed them. Now we have to use the
dynamite to blast of that place.” The general joined them and came to the maze. Then Angus and the 3 people made
the general enter and the 4 soldiers they knocked off and said, “Sir, we have to go get the dynamite, please wait here.”
And the locked the maze and took the dynamite and laughed, “H a! General John, you got cheated. We were not the
soldiers, we were the people you locked in the maze and now you are locked in it! Wait till I bring the dynamite.” Then
Angus threw the dynamite in the maze and ran away with the people. Finally, the soldiers and the General was dead.
The people thanked Angus and they were celebrating and they became free from the foreigners. Later Angus
disappeared in the venue and he arrived to the amusement park seeing his parents standing there worrying for him.
Later as he came out, he felt that his curse was still unbroken, he went back the creepy old grandfather and told him to
set the time machine for the day of the bet he had with Adrien and he fixed everything and came back to the
amusement park. Finally, at last, Angus corrected his curse and helped the city of old Shanghai to gain freedom.
Next day when Angus went to school, his history teacher started to teach them about the jade run which happen at the
city of old Shanghai. Angus smiled as it was a history created by him which made the city of Shanghai with freedom
of no foreign concessions to trouble them anymore.
