lying beside me and lunged at Lin, ready to plunge it deep into his beating heart. Despite my tiny size, the force sent Lin barrelling across the floor. Adrenaline fuelling my body, I tackled Lin to the ground ready for the final blow. Lin fought back, shoving me off his body, snatching the dagger out of my hand, and with a sneer, Lin penetrated the dagger deep into my abdomen, my eyes widened with shock as I screamed in agony. With my last dying breath, I mustered every last ounce of energy to crawl over to Mother whose body laid lifelessly cold on the hard floor. I gently lowered my head on her corpse, eyes slowly fluttered shut as my body went still.
