catching the attempted rescue in action. “Lead everyone to the forest, quick!” ordered by Sheng. Chin nodded and lead everyone out while Sheng and a small group of soldiers ran the opposite way. Chin and the remaining survivors manage to escape via the sewers, safely finding their new haven in the forests. The guards and invaders were set on following Sheng and his men, Chin knew Sheng would be in dire need of his help, but the best thing he could do was plan an attack to save Shanghai. The next morning, the invaders scattered far and wide scouting for Chin and the villagers. On the other hand, Sheng and the rest were forced into slavery, working in farms and other manual labour. Chin gathered his men, “Wait for the invaders to leave their bunkers, upon their return we'll attack when they least expect it”. Everyone complied in agreement, it was the make or break for winning back Shanghai. The next morning everyone got up early in the morning, they knew the invaders were already gone to war leaving their bunkers empty and vulnerable. All villagers were equipped with a weapon in hand, hiding near the tents and bunkers where the invaders will soon return from a massive win or lose. Later around the afternoon, Chin spotted one of the invaders back from the war, he gave the signal to the others to be prepared to attack. Most of the invaders returned were injured, right when one of the first was about to enter his tent, Chin and the villages striked, attacking the weak and wounded. They were out numbering the invaders, they struggled to defend against Chin’s surprise attack. Reluctantly, suffer the lose of chin and the villagers chases down the rest of the invaders taking them back from Shanghai and onto their boats, where they were originally from. Once all the invading soldiers were back on their boats returning to their home country. Chin knew it had finally come to a victorious ending. They returned back to the old city destroying tents and rebuilding it back to its former glory. Chin told all the rest of the villagers to free everyone who is held in the buildings. With that being said he immediately rushed to the closest building. There was his father lying on the floor, badly beaten. Chin rushed to him, his faint pulse was still there. Sheng looked up and told Chin one more thing “You`re the new commander, protect Shanghai for me”. Chin was in shock but he nodded with tears in his eyes, replying “Yes, thank you Father”. Right as Chin replied his father's pulse faded. Chin returned back to the city immediately with the news. That night they had a late feast to celebrate the victorious reclamation of the old city and to send off their fallen great commander, Sheng. After months of rebuilding the old city of Shanghai it was finally finished. The whole city was remade, once again at peace, but the battle of the Old city of Shanghai will forever remain as a part of its legacy.
