She lay there in bed reading the letter over and over. The words ‘Hong Kong’ in her mind. Her parents didn’t really leave her and they might still be alive. Everything was so hard to take in. A few minutes later, she took the box and opened it. Inside were some of the best things that had ever happened between her and her grandparents. Buried at the bottom, were 3 pictures of a couple. They looked similar to Annie, but in many ways, very different. The next morning she woke up and told her helpers to go and be free. No more working for her.
