“ Here you go ,” Scarlett whispered as she handed her sack to the girl , “ everything is going to be alright in the end , okay ? Stay hidden and tomorrow , a guy will come to fetch you to a safer place . I ’ ll see you there . Take care .” The girl looked up , her doe eyes watering , she opened her mouth but nothing came out .
“ I know you miss them a lot , and it ’ s okay . I ’ ve gone through that too . It will get better . I have to go now , it ’ s getting late , but I ’ ll see you again , very soon , I promise .” Scarlett then slowly turned around and walked back to the path she originally came from . A gentle breeze blew and she looked up towards the sky . Surprisingly , the clouds had parted only to reveal a bright star , bravely glowing in the dark sky by itself . She thought to herself , maybe it was very insignificant , but it braved the darkness to light up the sky to its best ability , and that was what really mattered .
