Robbed in Shanghai Carmel School, Moscovic, Josh – 9 O n a warm sunny Tuesday in May 2018, in my mansion I woke up and I stretched in bed then I jumped up. I went to say good morning to my family that consisted of my 43 year old wife, Victoria, a 15 year old son, Jason, my 4 year old son, Robert and myself…. David, I am a 58 years old jeweller I would like to tell you about two jewellery stores we own in Shanghai, China. Lilli's Shanghai on 1051 Xinzha Road, Jing'an. Second store is Laofengxiang Jewellers on 1942 Sichuan North Road,hongkou. So on to the story, on a freezing chilly night, there was a man dressed in a black suit which made him invisible to people. With a gadgets belt around his stomach, he was ready for action. His face couldn't be seen as he was up to something sinister. He had a laser gun that could break any wall, glass and titanium. That night I fell asleep sadly I was tired.The man dressed black was in action, first he broke through the back wall of the showroom, then he used his laser gun to break the jewellery from the glass case. He saw a door with a keypad which needed a secret code. He tried to opened it but without luck. It was locked! He use his laser gun to break down the door. What he saw behind that door was a titanium see-through glass case and inside was a small rare jewel. It looked like a sphere lava with jade dragon crusted in it. If it fell into the wrong hands, the person can crush it into his or her chest and he or she would never die. He broke the glass took the jewel and escaped. Other jewels that he took were golden watches,dragon bracelets, jade rings and a chest of Chinese coin rings, 24-28 karate gold necklaces and diamond earrings. Eight hours later which was 7:30 am, when I woke up I received a call saying “Your jewellery store was robbed!” I asked “Which one?” The guy on the phone said,” It's Lilli's Shanghai, 1051 Xinzhaoad on Jing'an, sir” “Did the robber steal the jewel behind the coded door?” He replied,” Yes, he did sir!” I rushed to tell Victoria the horrible news. I said “The Lilli’s Shanghai,has been robbed.” Victoria and I rushed to the store to get more information on the robbery.on the way there we went past a Chinese famous market with stores and restaurants with dumplings and noodles and a toilet restaurant.The guy on the phone he showed us a big hole in the back wall of the store. The wall was cut open. I said,” This will cost me a fortune to repair the damage.” Huh so he said that there was no recording of the camera footage me and Victoria hired a private investigator, Mr. Chow.
