he crashing sound of lightning filled the charcoal black sky . The luminous moonlight shimmered its light across Shanghai ’ s shadowy Shanghai Street Circuit . In the dark , the streetlights flickered across the road . Blowing furiously , the wind swooshed through all the ruined buildings , causing the broken doors and shattered windows to creak .
Corporal General Akio stood in the dark avenue , his sultry silver blue eyes reflecting the light from the torch . He had pale skin and his black hair swayed side to side as the wind blew strongly across his face . He had one hand holding a flashlight while the other rested on his hip . Walking through the ruined buildings , Akio flashed his torch everywhere to make sure that there were no enemy soldiers around . Tall and muscular , General Akio fit in his black uniform perfectly . Various badges were dangling on his uniform , reminding him of his glorious victories from the past battles . He was known as one of the greatest soldiers in the Japanese army .
After he passed Shanghai Street Circuit , he arrived at Ghisi Route , the city ’ s busiest street . Corporal General Akio snaked his way through the crowd and heard them muttering about what had happened recently . Anger started to fill him , but he managed to remain calm until he was recognized by a teenager .
“ Look , it ’ s that mean General that killed Chen Mani !” the teenager shrieked .
He couldn ’ t pretend anymore .
Akio grabbed his gun and shouted at the people ,“ Hey ! If you don ’ t stop telling rumors about me , I will shoot you !”
Everybody ran and Akio went back to his home . He sat down on his comfortable sofa and grabbed the latest newspaper that was on the table . The first thing that he saw on the front page were the words “ Japanese Officer Shot A Girl For Refusing To Dance With Him ” in bold , capital letters . Akio screamed in frustration and ripped the newspaper into a million pieces . He turned on the TV . He saw interviewers interviewing people who were at the Paramount Hotel . Akio smashed the TV screen and went to make himself dinner hoping that would calm him down . With every bite he took , his thoughts brought him deeper into that ridiculous story . After dinner , he went to bed to get some good night rest .
In the middle of the night there was a knock on the door . Akio tried to ignore it but it didn ’ t work . He grabbed his gun that was on the side of his bed and walked to the front door , hoping the person would go away . When he opened the door , he saw nothing but a piece of paper stuck to his front door . It said : Dear Mr . Akio , Sorry to bother you but we would like you to come to our TV studio so that we can have a interview with you about what happened in the ballroom a few weeks ago . If you are interested , then you can meet our driver at your front door at 6:00 am tomorrow and we will pick you up there . Hope to see you soon !
