“Why don’t we try at night?” suggested Huiling, “Surely they’re off duty.” “Last night, one of us managed to get out,” recounted one woman, “But we heard a scream and it was silent again.” “And she never came back,” sniffed Chen. They all sat down thinking about how to get out (or in Chen’s case, weeping), and before Huiling knew it, she was fast asleep on the ground. Huiling awoke to the sudden faint light coming from in between the walls. Then an idea struck her. “Wake up everyone,” yelled Huiling, “WAKE UP!” There were a few groans coming from every corner of the room. “When I was up there,” Huiling said pointing upwards, “There was an unstable wall that cracked a bit.” “So what’re ya tryin’ to say?” asked Chen. “I’m saying that we break the wall,” said Huiling pointing to the wall in front of her. A few women just grunted and rolled their eyes, then simply went back to sleep. However the others were considering the idea and stayed standing. “So we just run into that wall?” asked Chen. “Yes,” replied Huiling, “Everyone, we all run into that wall when I say ‘go’.” The women standing up nodded and stared straight at the wall ready for the command.
