a wry smile , regret escaping and implicating Lili ’ s family in the crime . Tears on his face reflected the soft sunlight peaking from the clouds like sparkling dewdrops . She could no longer hold back her tears . Tears of compassion and love for the boy were trickling down her cheeks . Her two little cascades , however , could never slow down the pace of the coming army .
There was no time . Her bother grabbed her hands abruptly pulling her forward , pulling her away from the dying soul . “ Sorry ….” His voice was thin , merely a thread of sound . His hand was stretching towards his mistress , running away with her family towards the light , towards life . He , was lying there , waiting to be sacrificed for love , waiting and feeling his heart being pieced by thousands of arrows . So painful , as if the grim reapers were ripping his soul with a sharp scythe scornfully , vibrantly like the chasing liberation army .
