Finally , someone was willing to call for help as Chen saw them moving reluctantly to receive the chariot to send the boy to the hospital .

Chen walked back into the precinct , he looked around only to find everyone avoiding any at all eye contact with him . “ Selfish scum …” Chen muttered to himself as he made his way to the rooftop for a smoke . It had to be an inside job , no one who was not an officer would have been able to make it into that cell room even with the guard not paying any attention , Chen thought to himself as he lit the cigarette in his mouth . At this moment , Chen was staring intensely at his captains collar , he finally found out what had been off with his uniform . “ Sir where is your insignia ?” Chen asked as he tried to keep his tone as calm as possible . Then as a glimpse of fear formed in Sousuke ’ s eyes , his arm shot up to his collar to check , “ huh well there ’ s only one , good catch Chen it must ’ ve fell off during the brawl earlier .” Sousuke said trying every so desperately to hide his trembling voice . The next thing Sousuke saw a fist flying straight for his face , the impact slammed him straight onto the door he closed . “ You killed them ? You killed the Toyama ’ s ? Why ?” Chen yelled as he watched his captain try to regain his standing . “ Damn , I didn ’ t want you to find out this way …” said Sousuke as he reached into his jacket pocket and swiftly whipped out a pistol and aimed it at Chen “ you see old friend , the Toyama ’ s , they were Chinese sympathizers , they supported triads and gangs secretly , but well , we found out .” said Sousuke as a mocking laugh followed . “ So you murdered them ? Just because of that , you ’ d kill your own people ?” questioned Chen , his tone filled with shock and disbelief . “ Isn ’ t that enough reason ?” replied Sousuke genuinely confused by Chen ’ s question “ they were hindering our cleansing , they were stopping order we were going to restore !” yelled Sousuke all while expressing his admiration for the ideals of Imperial Japan . Infuriated , Chen sprinted towards Sousuke in attempt to disarm him . Only all Chen heard was the loudest explosion in front of him , he stopped dead in his tracks and looked down as he saw a redness expanding on his shirt , what followed was the pain . Chen dropped to his knees and let out a low groan as he was determined to not grant Sousuke the satisfaction of knowing he was hurt . “ You poor fool Chen , what were you planning to do report me ? To who ?” Sousuke asked all while sneering as he looked down at Chen “ and now it ’ s time for you to go down in history as a criminal ” Sousuke said as aimed the gun at his arm and took shot , which was followed a loud howl , then a psychotic laughter , “ I ’ ve got to make it look real after all ” he said finally as he threw the gun down and opened the rooftop door .
“ He shot me , he shot me !” Sousuke screamed as he limped down the stairs “ someone go up there and make sure that dog is dead !” he ordered . All the officers in the precinct got up faster than anyone would have thought and ran to the rooftop with their weapons drawn . A few officers also raced to their captain ' s side , wrapping his bleeding arm with cloth as they offered to do anything to help . Sousuke however just waved them away and ordered “ inform the diet immediately , tell them we found the killer for the Toyama case .” Sousuke watched as the officers left and thought , no one , no one can stand up to Imperial Japan .
