ey . It ’ s me . It ’ s been a while since we last talked . I was wondering how are you doing ? Where are you now ?
Today , while I was walking back to our house from Gu Bei Carefour opposite the street , I saw this little girl looking at me . She was hiding behind a tree , her little head slightly poking out , enough for her eyes to spy me . She had a pair of brown eyes .
Do you remember ? The first time we met .
We both went to the same high school in Shanghai . Just 2 ordinary teens among the vast bodies of students in our school . We were in the same class . I remember , that day , as I walked into class and sat down . I looked up to find a pair of brown eyes staring at me from across the room . I was startled at the sheer beauty of your eyes . It was like a masterpiece . The rims of your eyes were a darker shade of brown , whereas around the pupil was a brighter shade . And when light was reflected in your eyes , the brown in your eyes shone gold , and the lines in your eyes flickered . Your eyes danced as you looked at me .
The teacher called my name , but I didn ’ t hear it . I was lost in your eyes . After , the teacher came in front of me and blocked my view . That snapped me back to reality . Everyone laughed as I blushed shades of red . And out of the corner of my eyes , I think I saw the edges of your mouth curve up .

Hey . How are you ? I am sorry I haven ’ t write you another letter any sooner .
These days , I don ’ t have much to do . Well , to put it in a better way , I can ’ t do much . Ha ha . So I ’ ve been watching a lot of TV shows . You know , those Korean dramas and Chinese comedy shows . I remember , as I was watching this episode of a drama series , the male actor and the female actor kisses . For quite a long time as the camera zoomed in closer to their faces .
Do you remember ? Our first kiss .
Shortly after we first met , we started dating . Our relationship developed rather slowly . We were both shy . We both were never in a relationship ; both don ’ t know what to do . We just chatted . Non-stop . For most days we even chatted through the night . Talking about fashion , clothes , school , studies , friends . I remember . Those days deep into the nights , where the moon was high in the sky . I would sit on the window ledge and lean against the window . Looking out over the slumbering city of Shanghai . The lights were beautiful . It gave the dark sky colors . From where I lived in my compound , I could see many tall buildings , and somewhere in the distance , was were you were , most likely sitting on your window ledge too , leaning against the window , looking out into the distance . Wondering if you could see me . I remember it was on one of these nights , that you told me you liked watching the setting sun . You liked how it ’ s radiance would light up the world in a warm orange light .
Then , the next day . After school , I took you out for our first date . We first went to have dinner together along the street of West Nang Jing Road . Nothing fancy . Just some local Shanghainese noodles that you liked . When the time was right , I took your hand and brought you to the Bund , where we had a good view of the Huangpu
