“ Grandpa ! Aren ’ t you my grandfather ? You should be ! In fact you are !” Kevin said excitedly . “ What are you talking about . I don ’ t have any grandson .” James said . “ It is impossible . You looks exactly like my grandfather .” Kevin said unbelievably .
Kevin wanted to talk more with him , but there were some noises suddenly came from the outside . The guards were coming . They were here for bring James which Kevin believes he is Kevin ’ s grandfather to judge . Guards were treating James badly . “ Treat him as treat your emperor !” Kevin shouted very angrily . Guards ignored and brought James to judge . James seemed very painful because he didn ’ t look very healthy and guards were pushing him very hardly .
Kevin had to wait by himself . He felt scared because there was nobody stayed with him and guards were treating prisoners badly . Moreover , they brought James who looks like Kevin ’ s grandfather . He was too scared , so he couldn ’ t even sleep during the night . He was thinking about one thing which was escaping . He made some plans , but there is no way to escape through more than million soldiers . He was not that fast and small . He was the one of the slowest boy from his class . Also , he was afraid of soldiers might kill him if he is arrested again .
Kevin was thinking about other ways to escape . One of the best idea was playing dead . Soldiers would throw dead people ’ s corpses from palace everyday , so that he could run away after soldiers throw him away from the palace . After he came with an escaping plan , he got one more question , which was ‘ where should he go if it is successful .’ He didn ’ t have any information of the place which was similar with filming site .
Kevin was thinking over and over to choose either escape or stay . His final decision was escaping from the palace without any information about the palace because even though he didn ’ t have any information , outside of the palace should be at least better than in prison .
Now , he was starting to act . Everyday soldiers came to prison 3 times to provide some food to them . Kevin was not going to eat any food that is provided from soldiers . He would hide some food before he started the plan and he was saving food to eat in the outside of the palace . He was eating some , so he could be alive .
If he fails in playing dead , probably he would be killed by soldiers So it was very important . In order to have a bigger chance to live , he simulated it few times last night so that he could be better at playing dead . He would play dead tonight by the time soldiers come to supply dinner .
As same as what Kevin ’ s prediction , soldiers came to give dinner to Kevin . He lay down on the ground and tried not to breathe often . Soldiers found that Kevin was died soon , so they came closer to Kevin and checked if he was dead or collapsed . They put their finger under the nose . When they were putting their finger , Kevin felt difficulty in breathing because he should not breathe .
Soldiers called handling corpses manager after they checked Kevin was dead . The handling corpses requires 3 or 4 men with a stretcher . When they were lifting Kevin up , they were touching Kevin ’ s body to move him to stretcher . He was almost not be able to act properly because they were treating him as bad as treating James .
Kevin arrived to a warehouse of corpses . There were smelly and dirty because nobody cares the corpses . He sat up and found few real corpses in the warehouse . He felt scared because it is first time for him to see corpses and sleep with corpses . He found the best place to sleep during the night .
Kevin was sleeping during the night . There were some noises from outside , so Kevin woke up and tried to stop moving . It was soldiers who has to put one more corpse to warehouse . Soldiers putted corpse around Kevin . After Soldiers put one more corpse , he locked the door of warehouse .
Kevin felt very uncomfortable because the latest corpse was bleeding , so it had blood on the most parts of the body . Every time Kevin moved , his skin touched to the corpse ’ s skin with blood . He just tried to ignore and slept during the night .
Kevin woke up in the morning and found the new corpse was James ! He looked like tortured by soldiers . Some of his nails were missing , he got big scars and parts of his back was scars of burnt . Kevin cried because it was too scary . By the time Kevin had touched James , he was showing small reactions .
Kevin was surprised again because James was still alive . Soldiers might thought he was dead because he collapsed for a long time . “ Are you okay ?” Kevin asked . “ Wa ... Wat .... Water ......” James was stammering because part of his tongue is disabled .
“ What happened to you ?” Kevin gave his water to James . “ They were tortured me because I am from another country . Emperor wanted to know about it and invade my country . Of course I didn ’ t tell anything to him . I was almost dead , but I acted like I am dead . How about you ? Why are you here ?” James told him whole story and asked Kevin . Both Kevin and James felt better because they had companion again .
They were planning how to escape from the palace . They found a very big problem . They didn ’ t know where and how would soldiers throw corpses .
