“It’s getting dark. I should get back to the orphanage. I’ll tell them you won’t need to stay there, Jason,”
says Christina sadly. I almost forgot that she was there.
“All my stuff is there,” I say. “I’ll come with you.”
I collected my stuff and said good-bye to Christina. I can see my parents, who came with me,
talking to the orphanage people.
“Good news,” they say. “Christina is coming to live with us!”
“Yes!” me and Christina yell, hugging.
I never imagined that I would find my parents and that Christina would move in with us. But from now on
nothing that happened in the past matters. I know the future is bright.
