The bus ride to Macau was a breeze. They even thought it was a bit too quick, but they were glad it was when they were surprised to find Cindy waiting for them at the bus terminal! No wonder she kept on texting them to ask where they were and the progress of their trip. It seems Cindy’s boss was kind enough to allow her to take some time off work so she could meet up with her friends. Now their old squad was complete and they were all laughing and truly enjoying each other’s company. Cindy asked them if they were hungry for it was indeed almost lunch time. She asked them if there was anything they preferred to eat, but both of them told Cindy that they’d trust her to bring them to some place amazing since she was the one based in Macau and more used to what the place can offer. Cindy then offered to take them to a famous Macau restaurant that served the most amazing Portuguese food. Cindy reminded them that it was a sort of historical tour too for Macau was once a colony of Portugal. And the nice thing about Macau, as Cindy said, is that it’s a place that’s friendly to tourists and the best way to enjoy a place is to try and sample the food it offers. After their lunch, which was indeed amazing, Cindy then decided to take them to a tour along the Cotai strip. Andrew and Edward were surprised at the new entertainment places that have been built, and Cindy said it’s continuously expanding making Macau a very vibrant tourist destination. Now it was time to meet Cindy’s boss so they took a cab to the hotel. Andrew made his presentation to the hotel’s manager while Cindy and Edward waited at the lobby. Andrew’s presentation went well. Bryan, the hotel manager, was pleased with the direction the app’s development was going, and accompanied Andrew to the lobby after his presentation. Cindy then introduced Bryan to Edward, and when she mentioned that Edward was a financial analyst, Bryan suddenly was surprised for it seems he was thinking of investing. Edward happily gave him his contact details and they agreed upon a day to meet in Edward’s office in Hong Kong. With all their respective responsibilities fulfilled, the friends were in high spirits given the developments of the day. They left the hotel pleased too that there was still enough time for them to have an enjoyable weekend together. Andrew then said: “Wow, this really turned out to be a great day!” Edward and Cindy agreed, and Cindy said: “Not only a great day, but a Greater Bay due to the way we were able to help each other out!” To which Edward and Andrew laughed and agreed that Cindy was clever enough to say those words.
