A Bright Shiny Place

Today is a new and happy day. I feel excited because a new area has opened and my family and I are
moving in there.
All activities are free! There is a great big football pitch and
perfect players. There are basketball players and also tennis players. Some other places of interest are
museums, Kids’ Zones, zoos, Indoor Skiing, Fun Zones, Legoland and Universal Studios.
My favourite places would be Indoor Skiing, Legoland and Universal Studios.
A very long time ago, I went Indoor Skiing. It was wonderful. I went with my friends. When I was skiing, I
was fast but I couldn’t control it. I like going fast but I like to control it.
Once, I went to Legoland. Everything was made of Lego. It was not very strong. I wonder who designed
the first Legoland.
I have never been to Universal Studios but I want to go there.
Indoor Skiing, Legoland and Universal Studios are all in The Greater Bay Area.
Yesterday, my mum, dad and I went to The Greater Bay Area. It was great but the government has not
finished building it yet. We spent the afternoon there. It took us five to six trains to get there. It was a three
hour trip. On the way home, I was amazed that it only took one train. It was an old train but it was just a
one hour ride.
What does the Greater Bay Area look like? It has houses and tall buildings with lots of people. First, I saw
skyscrapers in Shenzhen. There were so many supermarkets. I saw a real grand piano in a building. There
was a giant book store with tons of books and magazines. I was so excited because I love to read. I bought
six books because there was a Book Sale.
My mum, dad and I ate at a Japanese restaurant. It was delicious.
There are lots of different kinds of transportation in the G.B.A. Some of these are high speed trains, cars,
buses, helicopters and taxis. There will be no-driver planes and taxis. That will be very complicated and
cool. Mega bridges and many airports will be built. Nine cities and two Special Administrative Regions

will be connected, like Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Macau, Zhongshan and Guangzhou.
The Greater Bay Area have advanced technology, robot restaurants, facial recognition systems and electronic
payment methods. It will be an International Financial Center.
The G.B.A. will also be a ‘Green City’ with low carbon. It will have electric cars and clean energy.
Today, January 5th, 2024 is Moving Day! I feel very good. Finally, the day has arrived! I am moving to The
Greater Bay Area. Everything is in The G.B.A. I can’t wait!
