Outsiders, there were riots, break ins through the wall and threats being made. At first it was growing gradually, but then it had gone way too far. This place wasn’t considered safe at all anymore. The Government had announced a massive meeting and debate to be hosted Thursday to resolve all the conflicts between the two groups. This all started because many people couldn’t afford such a high class life and therefore were basically pushed out of their own homes. Honestly, with some of what the outsiders said I agreed with, it wasn’t fair to have rights taken away. It was finally thursday morning, I went to work that day as I did normally, trying to get my mind off it. I was busy designing sketches for a template of a new food app being created, even though I began with an internship, it was a good beginning for my career. At one point in the middle of work all colleagues gathered in front of the main projector which was playing the local news channel. I stood up from my station and walked over to take a look along with everyone else. They were finally making the big decision for both residence of GBA and outsiders to finally get the conflict over with. The decision was to provide homes for those living beyond the wall. Living beyond the walls made survival hard. There was barely any safety, very few places to get food, no form of transportation and more recurring problems. This was finally settled, they were going to get family sized homes inside the area. There were still people with different beliefs who didn’t want the compensation, but for now most problems in some districts were settled. After a few weeks had passed, everyday life was more peaceful. A slight breeze came my way, I was sitting outside an empty cafe drawing my most recent design. I felt safe, this was my happy place. Everything was back to normal, except now I had gotten a job instead of an internship. This was my new home and I loved it even more
