Future Adventures of the Greater Bay Area Island School, Ng, Eunice - 13 “Wow, that’s so pretty.” I scoffed, is it really that pretty? As you see, I’m not a huge fan of tall, commercial buildings. I’m more into aesthetic, but classy ones. Fortunate for you, this is not about how I despise massive buildings, it’s about this breath-taking place, it was a peculiar sight to behold on the first look, definitely. And this one area can stand out to me so much, I would miss going there. As you can see in Hong Kong, everywhere is full of those towers, standing there, mocking the smaller buildings. They may be small, but they contain so much knowledge, you can’t even believe your own ears when you hear this. Have you heard of this place called… The greater bay area? No? Well… I can tell that it’s gonna be amazing. Their gonna build it in the future, so many adventures happening around, I can imagine how crowded and joyful this place would be. Then again, this world was never perfect, there are always the ones who try to destroy others’ happiness, making them suffer through hard times. Anyways…. Friends or fouls, we can still play together at this relaxing place. Enjoy the sunny bay, soft sand under our small little feet, the ocean breeze swooshing on our faces, the laughter of families and friends filled the air with joy. So perfect and pristine, just like a wonderfully planned dream which has no end to it, at least that’s what I wished it to happen. Despite the fact that nothing is perfect, what more could you ask for? “It’s perfect just as it is-” Wake up, Eunice! School’s over. I woke up, startled. “H-huh? What happened? W-where am I?”, I stammered, trying to catch my breath. “You’re in the classroom and school is over, let’s go home together!”, Michelle exclaimed. (If your wondering who she was, she is my best friend at school.) “Sure-”, I agreed and before I knew it, Michelle was already half-pulling me towards the door, urging me to walk through. While we were walking down a hallway, I saw a poster about a place called The Greater Bay Area. I stopped dead on my tracks and tried to recall something, it was so familiar… Eh, whatever. It’s probably just my imagination. Or is it…
