After lunch, on his way back to class Tyler saw the girl from the day before. Before he got to talk to her, the bell rang and she rushed off, so Tyler made sure to find her when school ended. When school ended, instead of going to visit his father at his grave, Tyler went to find the girl. After looking for a while and deciding that she probably wasn’t there, he went to get his stuff from his locker. When he got there he overheard some people talking. Looking through the window to the tiny conference room he saw the girl from yesterday with a group of other kids in the high school. The meeting looked intense and before they could see him, he darted down the hall and went home. ————— The next day on his way to school he couldn’t help but think about their meeting. But maybe it was best he not get involved, it could cause trouble for him. Once he got to school, news broke that someone had vandalized the school writing on the walls “FREE US ALL FROM YOUR BRAINWASHING”. Although he was curious nobody seemed to care, it had been cleaned immediately and a few students were placed in detention. Later on in the day when Tyler opened his history book, a note was wedged in the margin. He opened it looking around discreetly to see if anyone was watching him. The teacher didn’t seem to notice him so he proceeded to open the note. It read: conference room, 7 pm. come discreetly and don’t tell anyone. Although Tyler was quite nervous, he still went as perhaps it was the group from yesterday. Either way, he went to the conference room and saw the same group from the other day. He went in and they all welcomed him and introduced themselves. One of the group members asked him if he felt different than everyone else. “I guess but I try to ignore it mostly, what does that have to do with anything?” This time someone else answered him. “We have reasons to believe that we are not being told the whole truth about China’s leadership and fairness. We think that when they took over the world they brainwashed everyone so that they were incapable of actual emotion and common sense, making it easier for them to rule without any problems.” Tyler was quiet. He took a moment to process it. What the girl had just said didn’t sit with him right. It made sense but it was so far-fetched and crazy. What did they want from him? “What do I have to do with all this?” he asked, feeling a little queasy, “And why are you trusting me with all this important information?” The group looked at him as if he was super clueless and the girl he had met started to talk. “My name is Emma.” She shook his hand. “We met briefly the other day but I knew you were also part of us. We are all flaws that are meant to save everyone, we called you here in order to recruit you for our mission, are you in?” ————— A month had passed since Tyler had joined the group of students. Since then, they had planned and executed many different attacks in the school, Government and public places. Every time it would be bigger and was cleaned up faster. They were now planning their biggest one of all. They were going to attack at the big celebration for China's bravery and ruling of the world. They had to be more discreet as time went on and stopped meetings at the school. Now they meet at the cemetery. And when they're at school they don't dare talk to one another. When they started out, they were only 7 students, now they were a group of 130 people from all over the world. It seemed that they were not the only ones and it made them more motivated to fight. Their plan was quite simple, they were to make a big distraction and then when everyone wasn't looking, they would hack the servers of the TVs and broadcast their message. So on the 6th of July, they all took their positions and waited for what they were to do. Tyler was in charge of hacking the system and making sure the message was up using a flash drive. Emma was working with him and the rest were placed in the crowd to let off smoke bombs. The other members of the group in the world were supporting them by causing disruptions within their celebrations.
