The boy thought for a while. Then he replied, “I’ll call my friend to fly down and save us from the Daji. Then we’ll have to find somewhere to keep you safe.” Ellie frowned at the boy. “You can’t fit a plane in this cramped little alleyway!” she told him. “I know that. My friend can fly. Without a plane.” the boy explained. “Silenia! Can you fly down and get us out of this alleyway?” He looked at Ellie. “Silenia will be here in just a bit.” “But! People can’t fly without planes! This is ridiculous!” cried Ellie. A sudden screech echoed across the alleyway, startling both of them. They looked over to the entrance, where a lady with fox ears and a bushy tail stood. “The Daji.” Ellie whispered. “Its found us.” Just then, a blonde blur swooped down and nabbed Ellie and the boy. They soared over the glass buildings into the midnight sky. Ellie looked up to see what had grabbed her, and found that it was a blonde girl with kaleidoscopic eyes. She was wearing ripped jeans with a purple top. Ellie looked over at the boy, who gave her a look that said “I told you so.” Luke. “So, Luke, who’s this?” the girl Ellie guessed was Silenia asked the boy. Oh. So the boy was called Luke shrugged. “I didn’t really catch her name.” “I’m Ellie.” Ellie introduced herself. “Thanks for saving us, by the way.” “Oh, it’s no biggie. I’m used to saving Luke here anyway.” Silenia gestured to Luke, who pouted. “So… Luke said we should take me somewhere safe.” Ellie fiddled with her silvery hair. “He did? Well, I can’t fly you guys for too long, so we’re landing at Camp Pangu, which is for halfbloods like us.” “A what?” Ellie asked. “Half-blood. A person who’s half god, half mortal. Monsters tend to try to find these half-bloods and kill them. That’s why the wolf spirit came to find you just now.” Silena explained. “Right now we’re going to a camp where the monsters can’t find you.” Ellie nodded, processing the information. She looked up at the night sky, admiring the full moon and twinkling stars in the night sky. Ellie had always loved the moon. She felt she had some kind of connection to it, but she didn’t know exactly what. “Down there!” Luke exclaimed, startling Ellie. “That looks like a demigod camp!” Ellie looked down to see red roofs occupying the space below. There was a field and a climbing wall. Nearby, a lake glistened calmly in the moonlight. “Yes, this is the one.” Silenia said as she touched down in front of a vast scarlet sign that said “Camp Pangu, Delta Bay Area”. Silenia gently set Luke and Ellie down on the grassy earth. “Let’s go in. I know this place.” Silenia led Ellie and Luke into the camp. There was nobody around. Maybe because it was the middle of the night right now. Ellie didn’t have a clock, but for some reason she knew it was midnight. Silenia led them into a building that had a sign over it saying “Office”. The three of them walked through a crimson and gold corridor until they reached a white door that read “Nezha”.
