The Magic Stick Alliance Primary School, Kowloon Tong, Fung, Sin Yu Cheryl - 8 Once upon a time, there was a man named Jerry. Jerry lived in Macau, a place with many delicious food, shops and hotels. He was always bored. One day, when Jerry was walking through the road. He met a homeless old woman. She looked tired and hungry. Jerry gave the woman his food and some money. After a few years, the old woman came to Jerry’s house. She brought Jerry a stick as a gift. The old woman said, “It’s a “Magic Stick”! It can give you anything you want.” Since then, Jerry’s life was easier. He said, “I want $10,000,000!” and it appeared. The stick not only brought him money, but also brought him houses or places. Once, he woke up late and it was eight o’clock. He was going to be late. After putting on his clothes, he said to the stick “I need to go to the office and have a cup of coffee.” After a second, he was in his office and had a cup of hot and delicious coffee. Once, he said, “Bring me to an aeroplane, I want to fly to Hong Kong!” There was something wrong with the magic stick, instead of being in an aeroplane, he was sitting on a toy aeroplane only. Jerry fell on the ground and the magic stick was broken into thousands of pieces. After that, Jerry used up all his money quickly. Jerry wanted to go to Hong Kong, so he worked very hard to get some money. He moved to Hong Kong finally. When he arrived Hong Kong, he was impressed by the beautiful Victoria Harbour night scenery. Jerry also learnt that Hong Kong is a part of China and China is the largest nation in the world. China people speaks Putonghua and China has Yellow River ( 黃河 ) and Chang Jiang ( 長江 ). Jerry was interested in Hong Kong and China very much and he wanted to learn the history. Jerry made some friends in Hong Kong and they talked about Hong Kong and China every day. Once, he met a girl in the street. Her name was Anna. Jerry and Anna dated and married. The wedding was beautiful. The old woman that Jerry helped came to their wedding too. She gave Jerry another magic stick as the wedding gift. Jerry and Anna lived happily ever after.
