had snow-white hair and hazel brown eyes, like the twins. “So darlings, tell me how you got to the Greater Bay Area.” Ten minutes later the twins had finished explaining their story of escape and took a long, deep sigh. “We don’t know what to do! We have nowhere to go! We should never have escaped from the orphanage we were sent to when mum and dad died in the fire! ” Mike added. “Don’t worry, you can stay with me for the time being, until you figure out what to do!” Po Po said kindly “Oh thank you!” Sofia cried happily. “I have an idea that may help you think about what you should do next. You see before I retired I used to tell people about their future. I have an old crystal triangle that allows me to see clues and those clues help to form a conclusion. It’s quite fun!” Po Po said excitedly. “Are you sure it actually works?” Mike asked questionably, “Yeah?” Sofia said. “Yes trust me it’s real!” Po-Po said. Half an hour later everything was prepared, a shiny crystal triangle was laid on a sapphire coloured silk mat. The twins sat on an antique wooden rocking chair as Po-Po concentrated really hard on the crystal triangle, looking carefully at every picture that appeared. Eventually after 10 minutes of inspecting Po-Po had come to a conclusion. “You said your parents died in a fire right?” The two twins nodded eagerly, “Well that’s wrong! They are actually living here somewhere in the greater bay area! Guess what? I have one clue for you…” She slowly pulled out a pastel yellow blanket and said, “Use this, look at the tag and find where it came from, but I can’t help you after that!” “Oh my goodness! Mum and dad are alive!!” Sofia squealed continuously, and Mike, still in shock says, “and they live here in GBA!”. After packing some essentials in their new heavy backpacks, from Po-Po, teary-eyed they say “Bye Po-Po! Thank you so much!”. They make their way to ‘Jerry’s Comfort’ the store that sold the soft yet worn-out baby blanket. Their bags were so heavy it was as if they were filled with rocks! Po-Po also gave them a sheet of paper with directions, and apparently, she knows the owner of the store well. “Left here!” Sofia says as they head onto Yeun Ta Road. They slowly approach ‘Jerry’s Comfort’, it’s a small little shop, quite rundown and old, but the products inside were top-quality. They head in and ask for the owner, Jerry. Jerry is a tall guy, with brown hair and black eyes. “How may I help?” He asked with a deep voice. “We were wondering if you know the people who bought this?” Sofia wondered and handed the blanket to Jerry, “Ah! An old ‘Lemon Blanket’ A bestseller! We’ve had so many…” His voice trails off as he looked up at Mike. “Wow! You look a lot like my good old friend, Paul Huang!” “Paul Huang! That’s our dad! Do you know where he lives!” Mike asked eagerly, “What? He has children? Well, you learn something new every day! Well yes, of course! Here’s the address.” He quickly scribbled something down and passed it to the twins “ Why don’t you children know where your parents live?” He asked, “Well here it goes again!” Sofia sighed as she tells him the whole story. “Wow! I don’t know what to say, well good luck!” Jerry said as the twins set off yet again. After two hours of continuous walking, the two twins were so tired they decided to stop and have some freshly made bread that Po-Po packed for them. It tasted like heaven compared to the orphanage food. It had a soft, milky taste, they loved it! Once they had gained their energy back, they started walking, they had this nervous, yet excited feeling in them. They finally walked down Turrel Road, the road where their parents lived, as they approached house number twelve their heart was racing so fast, they rushed up to the door and knocked eagerly. Creak. The door opened and out came a woman and a man that looked exactly like the twins. “Mum, dad!” The twins embraced their parents in a hug and were in tears of joy. Finally, when they let go of each other they explained everything, from the orphanage to the end. Once they had finished, their parents smiled at each other, then Ruby, their mum, said, “Old lady Mei you say, well she’s your grandma.”
