The Land of Friends

It was a bright morning in Guangzhou and Elvis just woke up. With her long brown hair, so long that it
covers her beautiful face, Elvis was a shy girl. She had two bigger sisters, Emmy and Emily. As Elvis hopped
out of bed, a terrifying shout was heard. It became fainter and fainter every second. Without a second to
lose, she didn’t even bother putting on her shoes and ran barefoot to where the shout came from, her sisters’
room. When she arrived, she saw a futuristic portal had opened up just beneath her feet. Both of her sisters
had fallen down the portal. Elvis couldn’t believe her eyes. She was scared, but she was the only one that
could rescue them. She took a deep breath, and jumped in the portal, just in time, too. The portal
disappeared and closed immediately just as she jumped into it. Down in the portal, she saw her sisters falling!
The sisters that the same colour brown hair but theirs was short. Elvis thought the portal would never end,
but as soon as she thought it, she was on solid ground. She knew that she was in a different world. She
quickly ran over to her sisters, telling them that they were okay. Then, she saw three figures running
towards them.
One of them said, “Hey, come and look, we have visitors! We seldom visitors in the Greater Bay Area.
Welcome!”
The second one, which looked smaller said, “I am Vivi, this is my sister Violet and this is Vivian.” We
noticed that Violet was the biggest, and she had long black hair. Vivi had short, black hair, and Vivian had
hair like Rapunzel.
“Well, why are we here?” asked Emmy.
“The portal sent you here because three creatures are destroying the connection between friends in our
world. They are called Dangermous, Dangersous, and Dangerous. They hide from our kingdom and live in
the mysterious shadows. It is a very dangerous place.” said Violet. “People believe that only the most secure
connection between sisters or friends can defeat their magic”, continued Vivi.
“I believe we will be going with you into the shadows” mumbled Vivian, combing her hair. “We must get
going. It is almost dark. It will be hard to see if we don’t go now. Quick!” she mumbled. Their adventure
was just beginning!
THE MISSION
It was dusk when they finally reached the Mysterious Land. The journey was a difficult and complicated,
with many obstacles along the way. Finally, they managed to reach the weird land. The last bit of the
journey was to jump through the portal that separated the two lands. Nobody wanted to go first.
Elvis said, “We could jump together, that shows we are friends, not enemies.” So, they leaped into the
portal together. Inside, the six new friends gasped. Mysterious Land was very dark. All the flowers were
rotten, and a disgusting smell was in the air. The friends longed to go back to The Land of Friends, but an
important mission was riding on their shoulders- they had to complete it.
When they looked ahead again, there was a muddy swamp and quicksand that separated the castle from the
land that they were standing on. There was no way that they could get to the castle without sinking. Just
then, Elvis had an idea. “We could lasso some rope to the rocks over there. That might work!” They
weaved some rope from Vivian’s hair, and the lassoed it around some rocks. They tried it a few times, and
by the tenth time, they finally succeeded. There were cheers and hugs all around. But they realized that they
had to continue on their mission.
When they reached the nearby castle, they found the door unlocked. They were surprised by this and
silently entered the castle. The hardest part of the mission had come.
Vivi, who knew the castle well and lead them to the throne room, where Dangermous, Dangersous, and
Dangerrous were seated. Dangerrous, the biggest villan, pointed a staff at Elvis. “How dare you let them in!
You lazy guards! How dare you just sit there?! Capture them!” Dangerrous bellowed. “Sorry to disturb you,
Your Grace. You have caused trouble in our world and we have no choice but to come here. We just want
to be friends, and restore peace in our worlds.” Elvis piped up. “Friendship is the most important thing in
our world.” said Emmy, trying to convince Dangerrous. Unexpectedly, Dangersous and Dangermous started
to cry. “We were friends of your land before. But when the police wrongly accused us of stealing, we
