My Adventure in Greater Bay Area

I heard that Greater Bay Area is an amazing area with big land and nice building. I am so lucky that I can
have a chance to visit one of the cities, Macau, with an experienced tour guide. My big day story begins.
I woke up one morning on a hot day, I slowly turned my head towards my alarm clock.
Ding,Ding,DING! l jumped out of bed to get changed in the bathroom. My mum was outside the door
and said “Quick, it is the Greater Bay Area adventure day!” It suddenly came back to me that had an
adventure day today in Macau and I better get changed for the adventure camp.
When I arrived at the meeting place I jumped up and down with excitement. I brought my HUGE bag
with loads of things inside. It was very heavy. When the camp began I followed the camp leader closer and
tried not to get lost.
When we arrived at the waterfall...I was really taken aback. I didn’t realise that it was so amazing! The
water of the waterfall was falling down the mountains magnificently. Suddenly realised that I was LOST!!!
I looked everywhere but I could not see anyone. I was alone!
I walked over to a huge tree… there was a nest up there in the tree. It was probably a bird nest I
thought. I watched the nest carefully, I saw a cute little bird flying towards me, I wanted to catch it and
keeps it as my pet. Suddenly I heard a rustling sound in the bushes. I slowly walked over towards it, then a
fierce dog jumped out and gave me a fright! I tried to run away but the dog was running after me. It
chased me closely behind and would not let me off. I was in a panic. My face turned very red. I was really
SCARED! This was really ridiculous that I could run into such bad luck.
A while later, the dog finally gave up and stop chasing me. I was relieved! But I was still lost and not
knowing where I was. I was feeling very worried and hopeless. Oh no! This was really a disaster. Then
when I slowly raised my head up. I saw the policemen. Yes, I was being rescued. I quickly asked him to
take me back home to Hong Kong.
When I arrived home, my mom saw me and the policeman and thank him for bringing me home, she
asked me what happened? Then I told her about my adventure in Macau. Hmmm.. I got lost, chased by a
dog and finally got home safe. It is really an adventure!
I am so happy that I can have a chance to visit Macau for the first time by myself. I really experienced a
great adventure day that I want to share my story with everyone. This is the reason I have to write and
record my day.
