Treasure Hunt in the GBA

Ten year old Lily woke up to a nice breezy autumn morning. It was the beginning of autumn break, and
she was looking forward to it. Hopping off the bed, she went downstairs for breakfast. Munching on her
cereal, she watched her mother read the news. Her mother had a very interested look on her face. She
finished her cereal and saw her mother read the headline, “A new treasure hunt in GBA!”. Underneath it
said “Presidents of Hong Kong, Macao, and greater bay areas have decided that we will have a treasure hunt
in GBA! The treasure will be coins and priceless treasures like watches and jewelery but with special types of
powers! If you want to join, go to sign up in the town hall to do the rest!”
Lily said joyfully” mum, I want to join! I know I am the most athletic and I have the confidence to do it!”
her mother exclaimed “all right, you can go sign your name. We can go together at three o’clock.”
At three o’clock in the town hall, lily signed her name and went home. She was so excited! She could
hardly wait if she could be in to the treasure hunt. The next day, they found out the results and Lily was in!
They were going to start the treasure hunt at high noon so Lily had to get ready. Wearing a nice green top
with matching green pants, she kissed her mother goodbye and set of on her journey. She soon learnt that
she was grouped with another bunch of girls and they each had their own talents. Lily was athletic, Athena
was good at disguises, Miranda was good at nature, Selenite was good at computers, and Marilyn was very
smart. They also had their leader, called leader Sharon. The next day they set off on their adventure.
First, they had to walk to take the high speed train that would take them to Macao. They were going to use
the longest cross river bridge to reach the far side of GBA. On the journey, lily saw lots of, streets and
buildings. Leader Sharon explained where the treasure was and what techniques they were going to use.
“there will be lots of traps and disguises, so make sure you are always with the right adults and stay safe. We
are going to go to Beijing, because that is where the treasure is located.” they went off the speed train when
they arrived at Zhuhai. It was nearly lunchtime, so they sat in a little cafe and ordered lunch.
After having a nice little lunch, the girls were feeling refreshed and ready to go again. They soon reached
their destination, Beijing. They reached a coal mine. The chest was right there. Suddenly, a monster
appeared. He was big, rough, and tough. Lily flipped over the beast and got the chest. Athena, wearing a
monster suit, distracted the beast. Marilyn signaled Selenite to shoot electricity. They have got the chest.
