"Greater Bay Area is so boring!” "But we are in the airport already!” my brother replied. "You promised that you would not be angry.” "Er...yes, I...did, sorry.” I hesitated. "Hurry up! The airplane is almost leaving!” Mother said anxiously. "Yes, Madam!” my brother and I said. We ran towards the gate at the speed of light and finally we got on it . After getting out from the airplane, Mother told me that our first stop would be Macau. I thought, "Macau is just a place with lots of casinos. It’s just like Las Vegas. Why don’t we just go Las Vegas? There are even more games to play than Macau.” But then, my father looked like he saw through my thoughts. He said, "My child, Macau has a lot fun games too!” I replied "Okay.” We went the Ruin of St Paul, which was a facade left from a cathedral. After we visit the ruin for a while, my stomach started to grumble. I told my mother and she took me to a bakery and bought a Portuguese egg tart. It was extremely delicious. It was very sweet. I asked my mother why does Macau have traditional Portuguese egg tarts. My mother replied, "Macau has been the Portuguese colony, so it is deeply influenced by Portuguese culture.” "Ah...” I answered, with curiosity to know more about Macau. Then, we played bungee jump in Macau Tower. It was exciting. After playing bungee jump , it was already evening—time to go to the hotel. Then, my brother asked me, "Nice place, right?” I replied, "It is just only one place!” Then, we went back to the hotel and fell asleep quickly. The next day, we went to Shenzhen by ferry. My father told me, "Shenzhen is a place which is simply full of foreigners. It is super safe and comfortable. “Then,” he continued, "The famous dish in Shenzhen is Shajin Oyster. Let’s go to eat the oyster. I know a restaurant which specializes in cooking this dish!” We all agreed with his idea. We went to the restaurant immediately by bus. After we got off from the bus, we went to the restaurant quickly. Luckily, there was one table left. We ordered Shajin Oyster and other seafoods, such as fried prawns and steam fish. When the Shajin Oysters came, I tried one immediately and it was really creamy. I told father about the oyster and he said that Shajin Oyster had been praised as being the milk of sea. After we finished our all dishes, we went to some historical places. I thought that it was a good place for us to have an overview of China’s history. Then, we went to the Shenzhen Innovation Hub. The technology was really advanced. Father told me that Shenzhen was the world largest manufacturing hub. We went to the hotel after we finished visiting the hub. The next day, we went to Guangzhou. We went to the Temple of the Six Banyan trees. My father told me that originally the temple had a lot of storeys but because of the war, the temple is only left with a few floors. We then went to a restaurant to have lunch. We ordered the famous dish— Baiqie chicken. It was a boiled chicken. When I tried it, I totally fell in love with it! It was soft and delicious! After we finished our lunch, we set off to the Canton Tower. We went up to the highest storey of the tower. It was really nice for viewing the whole city. I started to love the Greater Bay Area. The next day, we went to Zhuhai. It was really comfortable and the weather was warm. Sometimes I wish I could immigrate to Zhuhai. Suddenly, my stomach started grumbling again.
