The Big Buddha was on the top of a big stack of stairs. Crystal saw people bowing and praying on
each step they took. “Aren't they tired?” Crystal thought. “Come on. Let's get to see the Big Buddha up
close!” Luca shouted down to her. When they walked up close to the hip of the Big Buddha, Crystal was
stunned by the beautiful view of Hong Kong. “See the bridge on the sea?” Luca asked. “It’s Hong Kong-
Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, a new landmark of the Greater Bay Area.
“Just in time,” Luca whispered. “What?” Crystal asked. “Uh...nothing, It's time to go.” Luca said
with a grin. Luca and Crystal rushed for the bus to Central. Luca brought Crystal up to the roof of a
skyscraper there. “Please just tell me what I'm here for,” Crystal asked nervously. “Okay, okay, we’ll take a
helicopter to Macau, our next stop!” Luca replied. Crystal climbed on the helicopter exhilaratingly.
When they arrived, Crystal was completely confused. “Are you sure we’re in Macau, not in
Europe?” She asked. “No silly, please. Macau looks like Europe because it had been a colony of Portugal
for 400 years.” said Luca. Zoom Zoom Zoom….. “What’s that?” Crystal asked. “It was the same roar of
Formula 3 race cars !” said Luca. They immediately joined the exciting cheering crowd on the audience
stands. Right at this point, the racing cars zoomed by within a second and were gone like lightning! The
crowd went crazy when the race cars passed the finish line, some were cheering and some were muttering.
Crystal suddenly found how much her tummy was rumbling. “I must be screaming too hard,” she
thought. To finish this exciting day, a mouthwatering Portugal cuisine was just perfect.
After this long day, Crystal was exhausted. She collapsed into bed without even changing her
clothes. The next morning, she woke up thinking, “Where is Luca gonna bring me to today?” But she
soon laughed to herself, “Oops ...it was just a dream. But now I’m going to rock my school test on the
Greater Bay Area later on today!”
