"Yeah, what?" Lily replied.
"If we ever find the portal, would you like to come with us?"
"Of course! I would love to see the future of the Mang Kina… wait, is that the portal?”
“Yes! Yes, it is! Lin! The portal is over there!” Maddy beckoned Lin to come over and see the glowing
frame in the distance. Without a second thought, all four of them started toward the portal, but they realised
it was surrounded by people who were trying to get in! Everytime they jumped in, it would push them back
out.
“Hey guys… not cool! Look, we gotta get back to the future! I miss my silk sheets, room service… actual
food that doesn’t take forever to eat!” Lin said.
“Yeah… you are so nice! Can you take us with you?” they asked.
“Try! Lily, get your jewels packed and we will set right off. A few moments later, they held hands and
walked into the portal swiftly as the people watched in awe. Lily was in for a treat when she arrived. Shops
open 24 hours which were super convenient, pills that serve your meal and make you full! They tasted
exactly like the most high quality food on earth, and you could feel the food you are swallowing and
actually enjoy it! And then Macau with all the waterparks, the cool architecture influenced by Portugese
people. Lily thought the coolest of all were the tubes that transported containers in lightning speed from the
mainland to other countries underwater. Some years later, Lily studied hard in China history because she
loved it and eventually got a degree in it, and her, Maddy, and Lin lived happily as a family.
