Melay suddenly spoke, “We are approaching Chimelong.” But as they arrived the cloak slipped off! Before you could say “Photos!”, hundreds of tourists pushed past Eunice and rushed towards Melay to take pictures, thinking she was some kind of Chimelong character. Poor Melay was squeezed like a pancake and finally escaped when Eunice said photo time was over. “Phew” said Melay, covering them both with the invisibility cloak, “that was a close shave! Hmmm, I’m a bit hot! Let’s go somewhere with air conditioning.” Eunice said, “Good idea! let’s go to the Great Aquarium and cool down.” Eunice pulled the door open and the two girls ran inside. They walked down the long, wide corridor into the aquarium. The first thing Melay saw was a Great White Shark swimming past. She screamed, “RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! There a SPACE WORM coming after us!” Hundreds of tourists looked around for the noise as Eunice clamped her hand over Melay’s mouth! Eunice felt her cheeks go scarlet, and she whispered, “SSSHHHHHHHH! There’s no need to worry, it’s only a shark!?” When Melay was calmer they turned around to look at the shark. Melay stood behind Eunice (as she wasn’t convinced the shark wasn’t a space worm). They saw a school of fish swimming by, curling itself into strange, ribbon-like shapes. They walked through a clear tube staring in amazement at the very fat puffer fish, the elegant stingray and marveling at the glowing, translucent jelly fish. They went out when they were feeling tired and hungry. “I’m hungry. I’ve heard that humans have something called Mice Scream…” muttered Melay deep in thought. Eunice laughed and replied “You mean ICE CREAM! That’s a GREAT idea!” After they finished their ice cream, durian for Melay and chocolate for Eunice, Eunice suggested “Let’s go to Windows of the World in Shenzhen Bay!” In a second they were standing right on top of the miniature Mount Rushmore. It started to crumble. Eunice screamed “HELP!” and Melay brought them both to the ground, stopping the destruction of the famous faces. Eunice took Melay’s hand and they strolled along to see the Sydney Opera House, the Niagara Falls, the Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower and the Dutch windmills. “WOW” exclaimed Melay, “My feet hurt! You’ve shown me so many amazing things made by humans. Look at the Greater Bay Area! You have your own universe here!” Eunice said “I have to go home for dinner.” Next second, the girls were back at the bottom of their tree, with the purple sphere still perched at the top. “How are you going to get home?” asked Eunice. Melay said “I’ve been waiting for the Alienship Rescue Team to come and get me. I sent out an emergency message before we started visiting the places in the Greater Bay Area. They should be here any minute.” “Next time you want to visit, just crash land on the tree again! I’ll hear you!” WHIZZ! The Rescue team arrived. “I gotta go- keep in touch” said Melay, and she disappeared. “How can I keep in touch?” said Eunice to the air… She slowly turned around, and walked home.
