Future Adventures of the Greater Bay Area

I never thought a place like this would exist, combining the best of the best of everything in it—the
Greater Bay Area. This new region blends mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau into one, same place.
Therefore, it didn’t take me a long time to figure out what is the best name for this imagined place. Unity,
in my opinion, absolutely fits.
The first thing you’ll notice about this place is that there are floating landscapes everywhere above
your head. I believe, flying in the air is everyone’s dream. Well, come to Unity, to see all the imaginary
things in the past appear right in front of your eyes! Then, you should start exploring this new place. As I
mentioned earlier, Unity combines three places into one. So, you will find yourself in a city with advanced
technology, a shopper’s paradise, and a leisure palace. Let me give you a simple example. In a restaurant,
which you can easily find around you, the first thing to greet you is robot. Yes, I used the word thing. It
won’t be any human being anymore. But believe me, you won’t find it strange after you have your own
robot waiter by your side, ready to serve you any time. As for your meal, you can choose your own
ingredients in an All-You-Can-Choose machine in the corridor, then bring them back to your seat. You
might be wondering: Shouldn’t we bring it to the chef? Or: Do you expect us to eat the food, like, raw? Of
course not! Just simply hand your food over to your Robot-In-Waiting, and it will cook it in front of you.
Your meal will be cooked to perfection in a few minutes, and laid in front of you. Don’t you find this place
tempting, where everything goes so fast and smoothly? Well, at least I do.
You might already find the service at a restaurant fascinating enough. Then, shall we get on with
some shopping? As I said before, Unity will be a shopping heaven. And, best of all, you’re going to shop
with your imagination. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Just start doodling down a shopping list in your brain,
anything. Then, open up your eyes, and once again, find all the things on your shopping list appear right in
front of you. But please remember, open your shopping bag up wide before all of your goods fall onto the
floor in a heap, especially eggs!
After all those shopping or a day’s work, most of you will want a night free from all your burdens and
work, and enjoy yourself singing and dancing until midnight. Unity, is still the perfect place for you. You
can relax yourself at a quiet park, thinking stuff on your own. Or maybe you want to have an exciting night,
spending it in a luxurious casino, laughing and drinking all the time (Attention please: This is a suggestion
for adults!) And for kids, find yourself running around in playgrounds opened 24 hours all day round. Of
course, there are also something beyond imagination for you too. There are flying landscapes, so why won’t
there be floating aquariums, or even flying-car races. Literally, anything exists in Unity.
Come to Unity, an imagination world, where every single wish comes true. How to get there? It’s a
piece of cake. Just open your heart, think out of the box, and in a blink of an eye, you’ll find yourself in a
whole new, magical world—Unity.
