Save the Penguins
Discovery Mind Primary School, Discovery Bay, (DMPSDB), Wu, Jacqueline – 7
One sunny morning, my friends Stephanie, Derya, Myah and I were playing at the beach. Suddenly, we
spotted a horn. It was a shiny, bright and rainbow colored horn. We blew on the horn and in a blink of an
eye, we were in South Pole.
We saw a stage of majestic penguins. They had peaceful life but they were concerned about the sea monster.
When we blew the horn again, we transformed into fairies. Myah’s powers were sensitive, my powers were
being brave, Derya’s powers were running fast and Stephanie’s powers were being kind.
In a flash, the fierce sea monster appeared from the sea. It wanted to attack the penguin’s territory. After the
penguins told us about the sea monsters, Stephanie told Myah to blow the horn again. An enormous whale
slowly came from the ice. We climbed on its back but we began to feel hot. “What was that?” exclaimed
Derya. “I think we are close to the sea monster’s place.” Shouted Stephanie. “Come down, come down.”
Said Myah. “The sea monster looks like a volcano!” I said trembling. “Where do we go now?” asked Derya
worriedly. “I can help to find the way!” said Myah and pointed her compass watch.
When she found the way, she saw the fierce sea monster. “Uh Oh” said Stephanie, the sea monster starred
at us. Suddenly the sea monster spitted fire to us. We had to make a brilliant plan! Derya used her fast
running power and shouted “try to catch me!” but the sea monster couldn’t catch her. Feeling brave, I used
my stronger power to beat the sea monster and Stephanie used her kind powers to calm down the sea
monster.
Finally the sea monster was trapped in the cage and he never came back. In the end, the penguins were safe
and lived happily ever after.
