One can only pity being him, laying there with his identity erased. As the ocean that surrounded
him slowly drowned him of his consciousness and took away his processions. As time slowly erased his
dreams and ambitions of owning his farm. Was it tragic that his dreams never came into fruition or is it a
miracle that he lays frozen in this state – reborn from a criminal to a law-abiding citizen?
The next morning a woman wakes up to find her husband not home from his job. As she opens
her phone, she reads the front headlines in the news - “Accident on Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge –
Man Dies on Anniversary.”
