I walked to a stall and ordered a bowl of stir-fried noodles. Seconds later a waiter brought over a steaming bowl with a mountain of noodles. I dug in and had a conversation with a couple who had just moved here too. We discussed about the wonderful architecture and the exotic cuisine that was a fusion of unique flavours. I decided to try some of the exotic fruits so I headed over to the market. There were so many unique looking fruits, such as dragon fruit, rambutans, sugar apples and longans. I bought some of each and I also bought a pomergranate smoothie before retreating back to my apartment. The Greater Bay Area is a wonderful area where the cultures are not separated but instead blended together harmoniously to form one. I am extremely fortuitous of being able to live in a place which is contemporary yet quaint, heterogeneous yet eclectic, intimidating yet beautiful.
