A City Built in the Sky

‘The City Built in the Sky’ sounds magical and incredible, but, this is happening, and this is real. My home
is now in the sky though I know it sounds impossible. The mind-blowing city named Greater Bay city is
coming soon.
A city floats in the sky, solar energy passes through the sun. Water absorbs through the clouds. Vehicles are
fully self-driving, garbage will break down automatically and all the heavy duties are done by robots on the
streets. In this city, we don't have to worry about haze, earthquake and typhoon anymore. There is no
natural disaster here.
This city is huge, enormous, even bigger than any city I have ever seen. The land is very wide. The grass on
the grassland is very green, clean and vigorous. There are many beautiful flowers. When the wind blows, the
fragrance of the flowers will spread. The school is very beautiful. It is decorated with grass and flowers.
There are many bees and butterflies in the garden. There are all kinds of fish in the pond.
The classroom is very bright and the teaching tools are all high-tech. Through the virtual reality headset, I
can experience all the atrocities of World War Two in the history lesson. I can also see variety of species
living in the deep oceanic water.
Every day when I come home from school, mom and dad are waiting for me at home. Sometimes, we read
together. There is also a robot playing with me every day. My bedroom is planted with plants. I absorb the
nutrition from the plants every day and sleep well. In the evening, the wallpaper in my bedroom will
automatically change to a star picture.
The city is rich in business activities, even more than Australia. Every weekend, mom and dad will take me
to the mall. The pace of life here in this city is very slow. I don't have to get up early every morning to go
to school. There won't be a lot of traffic on the street, and there won't be traffic accidents such as car
accidents anymore. The policemen are all very friendly. They do not have much work to do. Every car
drives automatically and the traffic is in very good order.
Life is very harmonious here. There is no boundaries between cities and provinces. People and all living
creatures live in a peaceful atmosphere. Languages exchange are more integrated and efficient through
technology. The city in the air is a big family.
Even though all people are living in this area, it is not crowded at all. Each family has a large space, and the
population even exceeds Canada. Everyone enjoys the proper welfare and treatment, and even my pet
enjoys the welfare guarantee. This is the best mainland China. The society of this city is also very
harmonious. This is my home, a sky city full of magic. Welcome to my home -The Greater Bay Area!
