Future Adventures of the Greater Bay Area

On 23rd December, some of my friends and I planned that we should go to Macau. My friend’s names are
Manav, Alvin, Jayden, and Hadrian. We planned to go there by ship. We packed everything we need, like
food and water and went on our journey on a small boat with a map.
While we were at sea, a storm suddenly appeared. We forgot to check the weather! Our map flew away
due to the strong winds. We were set off course due to the current.
We were stuck in the middle of nowhere. “Wow, this is some phenomenally bad luck!” Said Manav. Alvin
then said, “Hey! I think I see an island in the distance!”. We then immediately sailed over there. When we
were on the island Jayden suggested, “Hey, maybe we could use google maps.” We took out our phones
and saw there was no signal and none of us had data, “Could this possibly get any worse?” Said Manav.
Then I said, ”Welp I guess we're staying here for the night, get comfy.”
24th December
We woke up at 10 A.M. We had a plan, we would run around and try to see whether anyone else was
there. We also agreed to come back in half an hour. I was having some bad luck, I couldn’t find anything or
anyone. I went back to ship later but no one found anyone. But Alvin did find a chicken it had a name tag
on it: Please Return to Dale and then where he lived and to our surprise, he was actually in Macau! We
obviously named it Dale.
An hour later.
We started chatting. “Im bored,” said Manav, “Why did we have to get in this mess?”. “I blame this all on
Kj,” said Hadrian “I mean he was the one who told us to go to Macau with him”. “Well, you accepted the
request” I protested, “WELL HOW SHOULD WE KNOW THERE WAS GOING TO BE A STORM,
wait who was supposed to check the weather?” asked Manav. “Well...it should have been me,” said Jayden.
“Seriously?” said all of us in union. “Well because of this were running out of food tomorrow, we are going
to starve AND DIE!” said Alvin.
“Look, we have the blessing of Dolphy the Magical Dolphin no one is DYING!” I stated. Everyone was
skeptical and confused expect for Manav but said, “Ok?”.
The next day
” Well this is our last chance to get rescued,” I said, “NO! WE ARE NOT DYING ON
CHRISTMAS!”.” well what are we supposed to do? Eh?”. asked Manav. “Prey to Dolphy.” I answered,
“That’s your phenomenal plan? To prey?” said Manav, “Just give it a try “I said. We preyed, suddenly a
ferry came out of nowhere. We sailed to the ferry in no time, we asked the captain “Where are you
going?”. The captain said “Macau”. So we followed it to Macau we had arrived!
We finally arrived at Macau. Just in time for Christmas. We went to the address of the chicken and
returned the chicken. The owner gave us a hundred thousand dollars! We were rich. We went on a massive
spending spree, bought candy, bought gifts to each other. “Maybe this wasn’t so bad after all,” said
Hadrian, “Ur kidding right? This is epic!” I said, “We’re rich!”. This was a jolly day getting here was just as
much fun! Apart from our lives were at stake.
