Future Adventures of Greater Bay Area Discovery Mind Primary School, Tung Chung Campus, (DMPSTC), Rajvanshi, Aanya - 8 Today I am going to tell you a story that I heard from my mother. It is about the greater bay area which includes our Hongkong along with Macau and nine cities of Guangdong part of China. Panda (portraying China) wants to be world class business leader and wants other animals like lions (portraying Hongkong), Monkeys (portraying Macau), Elephants (portraying Shenzhen) and Horses (portraying Guangzhou) to be part of this master plan. Panda dreams of being market leader across all jungles of the world like San Francisco, Tokyo and New York. As per the master plan, each animal will be assigned a definite role. Lions have leadership qualities and will play prime role in greater bay area development. Monkeys are going to be the entertainment hub. Elephants will take care of innovation and creativity of the work. Horses will be used as means of transport connecting home of all the animals in the jungle. The goal of greater bay area idea is to use all the collective strength of all the animals. To implement this plan, Lion-Monkey bridge is already been made to reduce travel time and attract tourists. Express rail has been started connecting lions’ home to elephants’ home and further connecting up till pandas’ home. But there is a little twist to this plan when it comes to make it happen. Each animal of the jungle has its own customs, rules and regulations. They are not ready to obey the laws put by panda and are threatening pandas’ ambitions. Pack of lions is protesting against panda over some bill and doesn’t want to work closely with them. Lions fear that they will lose freedom if they become the part of this plan. Pandas were facing a hard time uniting all the animals and time passed by. My mother left the ending to me. I live in Honk Kong (Lions) now which is part of the developed greater bay area. All the world’s top companies are located here. Life is so much fun here! I go to Universal Studios every two months which is very near to DisneyLand. There are shows, rides, shops and cafes everywhere in Universal studios! Transformer is my favorite ride among all rides. My relatives came to visit us and we went to Macau (Monkeys) with them by world’s longest bridge over water. They won 10000$ in the casinos there. We went to Guangzhou (horses) and Shenzhen (elephants) and guess what; we don’t need a visa anymore for these cities. In Shenzhen, we went on the fastest railway in Asia to Guangzhou. It runs at 224 miles per hour and is called bullet shun ho bee. In Guangzhou, we saw the tallest building in the world and it is 1005 meter tall! It is named Caullge shuang ho. We also saw a very big farm filled with mangoes, blueberries, strawberries, watermelons and lots of flowers like lilies and hibiscus. My relatives are going back to India tomorrow and so am I to school after a long Christmas break. I am happy that they enjoyed their trip to greater bay area.
