On our way, Emily suggested that we first try the local food of HoNa adding that HoNa’s cuisine was actually a mix Chinese and Cantonese food along with other international cuisines as well. We tried some yummy Chinese street food. “Since it is the Chinese New Year, we are going to watch a Chinese traditional… The Dragon and Lion Dance in the City Centre!” Emily exclaimed when we all were back on the van. Julia and I didn't really think it was that fun. With dusk fast approaching, we huddled outside with the rest of the audience and waited. Gradually the crowd was starting to leave. The show was supposed to start 15 minutes ago! Emily left to check on the performers with Julia and I tagging behind her curiously. The performers all had worried expressions and One of them blurted out that their costumes had gone missing! They were last seen only the previous night. We were excited to be in the middle of a mystery! With some quick thinking on feet, Julia and I found the costumes in a trunk and saved the performance at the end of the day. The performance was great and HoNa was even better. On our journey back home that night in the bullet train, my last thought before falling asleep was ‘HoNa was amazing!’
