“Yeah...” “Why so far away from each other?” Shaun seemed intrigued by his question and looked up. He thought about it for a long time. He bit his lip. He clicked his tongue. Then he finally blinked, rubbed his head and said, “The culprit must have moved the body around.” Shaun sighed. “How hard does this get?” He paced around nervously as they got off the train and walked back towards the scenario. Timothy examined the area and the body. No glass shards were around from the other place and no signs, either. “It looks pretty untouched to me...” He said as he picked up the body. He was stuffing it in a bag when he saw Shaun looking at something. He went over and saw a post-it that read: 使用这个笔记找到我:j i t l h a 静安寺。 “Find me using this note: j i t l h a Jing'an Temple.” Timothy translated quizzically. “What does j i t l h a mean?” Shaun said with a cocked eyebrow. Timothy shrugged and played with his coat button. “Let’s take it back to the girls.” Timothy said as he stood up. Shaun nodded and stuffed the note in his pocket. When they got back, the girls were waiting with the glass shards. When the note was read by everyone, they had a million possibilities. “It looks like the start of every word.” Sue mumbled to them and everyone agreed with her. “We should go to Jing'an Temple to see what this means.” Charlotte suggested. So they took a cab to Jing'an Temple and found a small hole in the center of the temple. “Jump. Into. The. Little. Hole. At. Jing'an Temple.” Charlotte whispered to herself. Her eyebrows perked up as she ran over to the little hole and sat down with her legs inside. Everyone in the temple gasped and started whispering to each other in Chinese. “What is she doing?” “I don’t know...” “Who is she?!” Timothy, Sue and Shaun were shocked. “CHARLOTTE, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?! YOU COULD DIE!” Shaun screamed at her and ran over to grab her hand. Charlotte shook him off and looked at the others. “There’s a room in there, guys. And the note means Jump. Into. The. Little. Hole. At. Jing'an Temple. I’ll go first.” She explained and dove into a soft mattress at the bottom while everyone else followed. When they all landed, a man was sitting in a chair and as soon as he saw them, he burst into tears. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry...” He begged, trembling. “Sorry isn’t enough, sir. You’re in jail now.” Sue replied, and the cops came in a flash. He was moved swiftly into the back of a police car and the victim’s family members came to thank them and they were paid heaps of money. “I guess we didn’t need evidence after all.” They said. Everyone chuckled and headed to the airport to go back home for a rest after a day of hard work. THE END
