“Oh, what a surprise! It means we can leave! So here’s our plan,” John said, “Tomorrow at dawn we will leave and in about a week we should arrive at Scotland.” The next day, John helped the maiden aboard and as it was by magic, the boat moving. Day and night the boat moved as they fished, John actually caught a baby shark and it took about an hour to deal with it. There was also a giant storm but luckily the boat had a shelter that could sustain through the storm. During clear nights, the two would sit under the shimmering stars and stare at them. The pair had food to eat and things to entertain themselves during the trip. On the fifth night, while star gazing John suddenly said “No star is as bright or as beautiful as you darling. I made a poem you might like. You mean everything to me, As pretty as a blossom tree. Will you be my wife? Together we’ll be for life. But before that there’s something I don’t know, Your name.” The maiden didn’t know her name so she thought for a moment. Then she said,“ Alice, call me Alice.” Finally, eight days later they arrived at Scotland where John took Alice to his home to live and introduced her to his family. They stayed together for about two years and soon they were married. They moved to their own home and lived in peace and harmony. But hey, how did I know about what happened in their journey? It was because I was the owl and I hovered over their boat to get to Scotland, when there was a storm, I hid in the cellar and used my bright wings as a light. I am a spy with the power to turn into a magical owl that can grant wishes behind people. You know, I might still be around the world secretly helping people today.
