wirl and swirl and swirl, thick and grey smog swirled thickly around all the places in Shanghai again. Do you
know what causes this horrible disaster?
Hundred years ago, a boy named “Guang” who was lived on the biggest piece of cloud which was called Merry
Blue. And Merry Blue was just in the sky above Shanghai. Guang was so naughty that he always bounced up and
down on the clouds with his hips and let out sound like “Thud” or “Bong”. He had a small brown dog called
Momo. She always played with Guang, but after a long time, they had made a very huge mistake while they were
playing on one day. It happened like this.
That day morning, Guang’s mother was washing clothes with clouds because there was no water up there. It was
always Guang’s happy moment since it was his free time. Guang had already played all the games he knew and he
could on the clouds. He felt bored and hungry. Although his mother had warned that he must not do this, Guang
and Momo still decided to eat clouds as a special and big challenge.
When Guang and Momo bit and swallowed a small piece of cloud, they choked and then sneezed. “Achu”, sneezed
silly Guang and Momo again and again. Something liked clouds came out from their noses and flew down from the
edge of Merry Blue. Once they started to sneeze, they could not stop it. In a short period of time, Shanghai was
covered with fog and mist. Suddenly, Momo made a big sneeze. Unfortunately, he flew off the edge of Merry Blue
and disappeared. Guang was horrified and asked his mother and the God of Cloud for help.
When Cloudy, the God of Cloud, knew what happened, she was very angry with Guang because he didn’t listen to
his mother. Cloudy enchanted a spell on Guang and his sneezing problem was fixed at once. Cloudy punished
Guang that he was not allowed to stay in Merry Blue until he found Momo.
Besides, Cloudy told Guang that Momo must be found as soonest as possible because his sneezing problem would
get serious day by day. In order to find Momo, Guang ran through the mountains, streets, highways and buildings of
Shanghai, Beijing and even the whole China.
