I
t was the year 1941 when disaster struck . The Japanese stormed into Shanghai and attacked the most popular place : The Bund . Serena , Ariana and Clement , the daughters and son of Victor Sassoon , sat on the steps of their father ’ s hotel , the Cathay Hotel . There , they watched in horror as those evil barbarians took the life out of their mother . Their father too was rushed away , but the three of them ? What were they to do ? It was getting late into the evening and they were stuck outside of the hotel . Startled , the children begged for help by pounding on the nearby doors for anyone to let them in . All of a sudden , a dark shadow approached them . When they turned around to see what it was , it was the most ferocious sight they could have ever imagined .
It was a rainstorm , but it wasn ’ t just any rainstorm . This was the rainstorm that happened once a century . From tales passed down , outsiders have reported that no one has ever survived this rainstorm . Some have said that this storm created hurricanes that swirl you up and trap you forever , but no one could really know .
Then , a scary-looking soldier came upon them . The soldier wore an armour that was made by the toughest iron , the finest gold and the most precious stones ever , mostly peridots and moonstones . He held a sword that was so shiny that in twinkled even in the darkest times , and it was adorned with rubies and rare diamonds . That sword was so sharp that even if you placed it on a fine piece of silk , it would directly slice through it , so the only way to place it down was by putting it down on cotton that was wrapped by the best wool ever . The tip was indeed the sharpest part .
The soldier was so scary that Serena , the youngest , screamed for 2-3 minutes . Ariana , the eldest , tried her best to calm Serena down , but with the creepy soldier there , she was terribly frightened as well . The soldier lifted up his sword as if he was ready to kill them . Clement saw what was happening , and he ran towards them to defend them . However , instead of trying to stab him , the soldier gestured them to follow him .
Feeling abnormal , the anxious children followed him with Clement in the lead . The soldier put his sword in front of him so that no one could get in his way or ask him about them . He also skillfully swung his sword around when he thought people might be looking . “ He nearly scared the bolts out of me !” whispered Serena nervously . Ariana agreed , since it looked as if Serena was on fire when she screamed . Clement wasn ’ t bold , but he obviously wasn ’ t expecting what happened next .
Just at the look of your parents lying dead on the floor would make you heartbroken , wouldn ’ t it ? Well , that was exactly what the children saw . Their parents were lying on the floor . With their little mouths open , a wave of sadness swept the poor children . Still , they gathered up their courage and continued to follow the mysterious soldier who was waiting for them at a nearby place which looked quite familiar to them . Instead of running away , they went after him .
When they arrived there , the soldier cleared his voice and took his mask off . It looked as if the place had been abandoned for a long time . The soldier had shiny bronze hair that was gelled backwards . He had blue eyes , peach , bright skin , and pursed lips . He looked more like a knight , and Serena , Ariana and Clement ’ s hearts were pounding . The grand soldier introduced himself . He was actually the emperor of Japan , so when he said that , the children immediately bowed down . He said that he was warned to be careful about battles from his ancestors , along with his entire army . Unfortunately , no one has ever bothered to listen to his descendants except for him , so when he saw them , he knew that they might be worthy enough for this quest to stop them . As well as that , he told them that the rainstorm was actually not the one that kills people and causes floods , but a regular rainstorm that was heavier than usual , and it was also increased by the levels of a generator made by his royal scientist , Alain , and was attached to lots of mini toy rockets donated by the children in Japan . Then , he made them into real ones that could blast off into space . However , their quest remained for a secret for the longest time ever . The only facts that were discovered was that they had to find the majestic spirits , probably something about why the soldiers weren ’ t obeying their masters strongest and most intelligent ancestor . But what happened after that ? Well , no one really knows what happened to them , but some scientists proved that they had fallen into the black hole on Mars while searching for some other mysteries of stopping the Japanese in some way , but this story shall remain as a secret forever .
As well as that , the children and their parents bodies was never to be found after they died , so myths were created about them , what happened to them and where their bodies might be .
