The History of the Dragon Dumplings

I
t all starts in a small town in Shanghai , where dragons flew high above the sky .
Once a year the dragons feast on the humans down below on the land . They called this day the “ Feastival ”.
One gloomy night , a baby dragon named Alex was born . He was cute and he was born a prince . His father , “ King Dragon Almighty ”, the fierce leader of the dragons was shocked that his son was born on the day of “ Feastival ” - that is , the day that all the human babies were born . It ’ s a day when the dragons feast on the humans , so for a dragon to be born on Feastival was not good .
This inauspicious birthday made Alex different from the other dragon babies because on the day of Feastival no one will be there to celebrate your birthday . All the dragons will be off eating humans and Alex ’ s mother will miss out on Feastival , as she will stay with Alex to celebrate !
Poor Alex and his mum , they couldn ’ t go to the Feastival . A Feastival birthday means that the birthday-dragon will be allergic to humans for 9 to 10 years . That means Alex will have to stay at home every year on Feastival - the most happiest time for the dragons .
On the day of the Feastival , the humans were bringing everyone to the protected palace where they will be safe and sound . When all the people entered , they closed all the windows and doors so that no dragons can get in . But since there were so many windows and doors they left one window open and forgot about it . So , that ’ s how the dragons were able to sneak inside .
King Dragon Almighty flew in first , followed on by the rest of the tribe . Their first aim was the guards . They ate them one by one and then moved on to eating the fat people . After that , they were stuffed , as fat people were half of the people in the palace .
4 YEARS LATER
It was Feastival and Alex was celebrating his birthday with his mother , when the others were all out looking for humans to eat . When Alex had finished celebrating , they saw the other dragons lurking around looking for a place to enter the human palace . They saw a tribe of dragons bashing a hole through the palace wall to break in , which attracted the guards to fight them . It looked a little violent .
The Queen pulled Alex away and said to him ,
“ That ’ s enough sightseeing for today , hope they manage to eat them all . I miss Feastival !”
Then the Queen tucked him into bed , and Alex fell fast asleep .
When Alex was sleeping , the dragons came back . All of them had scars on their faces and blood all over their bodies . There were so many injuries !
They threw all of their stuff down knocking down Alex ’ s birthday cake . They were really upset !
