In the Northern part of China, Dragon designed Beijing as the capital as he was the eldest and strongest
among his siblings. He built The Imperial Palace, The Summer Palace, The Great Wall, The Temple of Heaven,
The Grand Canal and Zhou Kou Dian Peking Man Site. He designed some dishes such as Peking duck, imperial
banquet and candied haws on a stick. Nevertheless, he could not find the pearl as he rushed to save his siblings
on the eleventh day. His siblings were attacked by some gigantic spiders. Dragon won and his siblings were
moved.
When the sun went down on the eleventh day, the Jade Emperor announced the result.
‘The zodiac order will be Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog
and Pig,’ declared Father Emperor.
Father Emperor turned to Dragon and said proudly, ‘You did a great job this time though you didn’t get the
first place. You united your siblings.’
From then on, the twelve brothers worked together in harmony. They brought prosperity and harmony
to different places in both Heaven and Earth.
