Old Shanghai - Secret of the Key

J ohn is an American cowboy doll in a shop in Shanghai Disneyland .“ I want to explore the history of Shanghai .” said John . That dark night , a beam of light suddenly shined on John and he came to life . He escaped from the shop and went to the station . A train was approaching . John was surprised to see the destination sign - To Old Shanghai .
John was so excited . He quickly jumped onto the train . He was the only one in the train . The train started to move and chugged into a tunnel . Passed the tunnel , John was shocked to see an old city . John got off the train . He saw a busy street and people wearing old-fashioned Chinese clothes .
“ Where am I ? Please tell me .” John asked a hawker but he did not understand English .
“ You are in Nanjing Road , Shanghai in the year1930 ,” a young Chinese girl replied in English . John was amazed . “ My name is John . What is your name ?”
“ I am Meisa ,” the girl smiled .
Suddenly a few gangsters came from the end of the street and shouted at Meisa , “ Give me the key !”
Meisa cried out , “ I don ’ t have any keys . What are you talking about ?” John grabbed Meisa ’ s hand and ran quickly .
“ Why are the gangsters chasing you ? What is the secret of the key ?” John questioned .
“ I really don ’ t know .” Meisa was puzzled . “ Mmmmmm ......” Meisa continued . “ There is an old Chinese saying . If a person cannot solve a problem , go to the City Temple to ask an oracle .” Meisa could not wait . “ Let ’ s go now !” They arrived and Meisa sincerely prayed . She shook the bamboo holder . One bamboo stick dropped on the floor . Meisa picked it up and showed it to the old man in the temple .
“ Go to the dumpling shop nearby ,” the old man said .
Meisa and John found the dumpling shop . They were hungry and bought a bowl of tasty dumplings . They began to eat . “ Ouch ! My tooth !” John screamed .
“ Look !” Meisa exclaimed . “ A key is in your dumpling !” Meisa whispered . Peace Hotel Room 206 was marked on the key .
“ Give me the key to the FUTURE !” the grumpy gangsters appeared again and yelled at Meisa .
“ I know the way to Peace Hotel .” Meisa looked at John . Meisa and John ran as fast as they could to Peace Hotel . The gangsters chased them . Meisa and John rushed to room 206 . They opened the door with the key , crashed into the room and locked the door .
“ We want to go to the future !” the gangsters banged on the door .
Suddenly the room became a big deep hole . Meisa and John dropped into the hole . When John opened his eyes , he saw himself back in the shop in Shanghai Disneyland . John was astonished to see a Chinese doll not far away in the shop . The doll looked and dressed exactly the same as Meisa . “ Are you Meisa ?” John asked . The doll did not answer but gave John a smile .
