Old Shanghai

O
nce upon a time in 1920 year in old Shanghai, there was a gangster with black jacket, camouflage hat, a
hand gun, black boots and white clothes with a black skeleton picture, was called Jack. He was a very bad
guy. He never afraid of anything, his family business was gangsters, and he talked angrily anytime. I have to tell
you that Jack only thought of drugs, money, crime, blood, screaming and other evil things that gangsters would
thought. He doesn’t had a family because all of his family member were dead. Everyone in the old Shanghai were
very scared of Jack and said he was an evil, greedy man. And so to speak, nobody like Jack and Jack had only one
friend. His name was Bony. He worked in the hospital in the Shanghai hospital, and knew a lot of things and he
was a good guy at all. Let’s go back to Jack. He took over the Peace Hotel at The Bund and he lived at there a
long time. One day, a policeman saw Jack beat a man badly. So, he caught him immediately with a pair of silver
shiny hand cuffs. And then, Jack was sent to jail by a tram which was for sending criminals to the jail which was
beside the Peace Hotel for three streets.
After Jack was sent into Jail, he can only eat rice, two siu long bao and one little piece of fish for breakfast, lunch
and dinner every day even was Christmas, Chinese New Year and other festival. He saw many bad things too, and
more and more blood. Even some police were good, most of them were evil and help the gangsters. He thought
those things were terrible and he doesn’t want to see them anymore. When Jack finally came out from jail and get
freedom again, he walked through the streets. Suddenly, a robber rushed to Jack and want his money but Jack had
already very angry that he punched him immediately. At last, the robber was caught by Jack.
After Jack defeated the robber, he still walked through the streets. He saw a lot of thieves, like: robbers, thieves,
gangsters and many other thieves. However, Jack had already became a good guy like other people, so he beat
those thieves one by one. He kicked their stomachs, hands, and other body parts of human. Suddenly, Jack heard
some weird sound,” Help! Help!” When Jack finally realized those sounds were calling for help, he hurried ran
around the Bund, Peace Hotel, streets, and saw Bony,
who was being robbed by a strong robber. He Hurried
run to them, and kick the robber, punch him with his strength and anger and finally, the robber was beaten to jail
but Jack had…......
At last, the police caught the robber to jail, at this moment people will think it is the end of story, right?
However, it isn’t. Let us continue our story. Suddenly, they heard someone was calling for help. They hurried ran
to there, and found out that Jack was laying on the floor and was bleeding, luckily, Bony knew something that
could save people that were in urgent because he worked in the Shanghai Hospital. However, Jack still need to be
sent to the Shanghai Hospital to rest and recover unless he still would die.
Finally, Jack had recovered completely, he waked out the hospital, saw the beautiful sky and then he started to
look for a job. Finally, he got a job which was driving a ship to other places. When he walked through the streets
and halls to started the first day of his job, everyone smiled happily to him! Jack was delighted and he ran fast and
toward The Bund. He picked out a small ticket of a ship and waited by sat on the benches. Finally, the ship was
ready to go, he walked on the ship, and drove away from the old Shanghai.
This story is the end and you can learn that bad people can be good and good people can be bad in this story.
