Five days at Shanghai

i, I am Simon Ray. I am here as the show’s guest for today.”said Simon “ I will talk about the well
developed country - Shanghai.Shanghai , on China’s central coast, is the biggest city and a global financial
hub. There are many travel attractions and it is a really good place to have a vacation in.” Simon remarked. Simon
Ray is a traveller and has went to many places pass these years. The host, Anthony, then said “Let us begin, shall
we?”
“Thanks for inviting me to the show, Anthony, I hope to share my experience of my last trip to Shanghai.” He
paused an then movsed on, “On my first day , I arrived at the airport, I found out that everything has changed
since the last time I have been there, everything has changed,after I collected my luggage , I went out and called a
taxi. The taxi drivers are so polite nowadays!” He took a sip of water from his cup and then he continued “We
went pass the well-known Shanghai tower. The view was quite nice.” Simon paused and hesitated for a second.
“As I arrived my hotel, I went to the check-in counter to register for a room to drop off my luggage. You can’t
just hold your luggage when you go sight-seeing, right?” He paused again and took a sip from his glass, then
continued “After that, I took my traveller’s pouch out of my baggage and took off to my first place I wanted to go
- a traditional Shanghai cuisine. Although it has nothing special about that restaurant, it was packed with people
when I arrived. I have to wait for half an hour before I can get a seat at the far corner. I quietly consumed my
lunch then I departed, the restaurant was way too packed!”
“The second day was even better! I was getting changed then i found out something: you can order a private car
to take u everywhere for fifty dollars, not that cheap but still acceptable. We went to the Oriental Pearl TV tower,
it’s distinctive pink shining below the sunlight, so awesome it is. I was exhausted after the whole day of traveling.”
said Simon. He stopped for a while and then advanced “On the third day something weird happened, I was resting
on the bank of the river Huang Pu. I was quite exhausted at that moment, even though it was just eleven o’clock
in the morning. The next second I knew, I dozed off.” told Simon.
He continued “I dreamt about something ridiculous. I was still on the bank of the river, but I noticed a pair dead,
dry hands with sharp, huge poisonous claws coming out of the river. It was coming for me. I did not have time to
escape. Then I was dragged into the river bottom. In the river bottom, there were dead bodies, random hats and
poop ,I think it was connected to the sewers because it has a foul odour coming out of the walls. As I was finding a
way to escape, I found a stranger who was also finding a way to escape. So we teamed up to find a way.”
Anthony muttered “Wow, horrifying.” Simon continued “As we were finding our way, that stranger found a
secret passageway that led up to land behind a closet. We crept up silently on the stairs , we heard someone bellow
‘NOW WHERE ARE THOSE PRISONERS?’ So we tip-toed towards the exit then we said goodbye to each
other before we depart separately.”
“Then I gradually woke up from my nap because someone had tapped me on my shoulder, I discovered that it
was already at dusk! So i hurriedly packed my things up then I left the river bank and i went back to my hotel to
have a bath and i had my dinner then I slept again.” Anthony suddenly shouted “SLEEP?AGAIN?” Afterwards,
Simon said “Yes , I slept again. The fourth day was kind of interesting, I was relaxing at the Sprawling Yu garden ,
it was so beautiful, the trees, the flowers, the lily pads and all that was wonderful. i didn’t even realise it is the last
day of the trip!”
